Summer has unofficially begun… mostly because Memorial Day signals the time when living becomes easier and breezier. Beach goers are gearing up and boaters are unbuttoning the hatches.
I put all my winter clothes away (haha, like we have a winter in Florida) and pulled out the sleeveless dresses and foil screen for the car windshield.
The KISS principle is the easiest way to approach summer. KISS stands for Keep it Simple Stupid and states that most systems work best if they are kept simple rather than made complicated.
I prefer to modify KISS to stand for Keep It Simple and Smart!
Here’s my Summer Plan:
Make Positive Choices — Words & Thoughts have great power. I intend to watch what I think and say. If it aligns with my best and highest good —great, and if it’s less than my best, I will cancel my thoughts or words and replace them with something of a higher vibration. Judgement, gossip and criticism are low vibrations. Gratitude, appreciation and kindness are way higher.
Be Flexible - I can not have everything turn out the way I want — so my new motto is simple,
Allow What Is To Be.
Lighten Up - Netflix and Amazon Prime comedies, lower caloric and higher nutritional foods and a more care free attitude sounds like a great start to summer.
Do Less and Be More - It’s that Simple…. Enjoy Your Summer!
