Oprah recently interviewed Elizabeth Gilbert and she said, “I’ve got to believe it’s a friendly universe.” Albert Einstein originally offered us this consideration.
He said, “The most important decision we make is whether we believe we live in a friendly or hostile universe.” I suspect, he was speaking about beliefs, perception and attitude.
What are your beliefs about the relative friendliness of the universe? Is it for you or against you?
Realistically, expecting the worst or negative thinking produces more negative experiences. It arises from uncertainty, perfectionism, unworthiness, discontent and fear. It can perpetuate itself over a lifetime.
The good news is we can change negative thinking into positive thinking and free ourselves from the imprisonment of limited perception.
It requires two main ingredients: awareness and enthusiasm.
First, become aware of your thoughts. Tune in to the ongoing internal dialogue you have with yourself.
If what you hear is good, great! If not, change the messages you feed yourself.
As with any new task or commitment, enthusiasm is the fuel for success.
Become wholly committed to shaping your thoughts and language positively.
Use terms such as: “I can,” “I will,” “I know,” “I am,” “I choose.”
Become enthusiastic about creating positivity!
Life is about change, growth is optional. Choose wisely so you can see a friendly universe and manifest a future that is truly worth energizing.
Remember what you think about, you bring about!
Make this moment friendly and say out loud…
