That means, throughout the day we have lots of choices and some are made instantaneously.
Last night I had the strangest dream…I was in a parking lot, waiting for a car that was backing out of a primo spot. As the car pulled out, I was shocked to see a little white Honda zip around the corner and casually drive into MY spot.
WTF, I steamed... and rage boiled up a nano second. I was peeved and could feel my adrenaline building... compelling me to jump out of my car and knock on their window and tell them I was waiting for that spot!
And then...
I made another choice. In the dream, I considered, Where is my peace of mind; through fighting, demanding to be right, being mighty, or just letting it go? And I knew exactly what I needed to do.
I took a deep breath, consoled myself over losing what I never really had, and said, Liz, It is what it is.
You're Worth More Than That.. Take Care of Yourself. Be Kind to YOU. Whewwwww... good choice.
I agree sound bites are in seven second increments, website visitors need eight seconds but a new choice for our health, peace of mind and happy cells takes just one second.
